Takut [2]




Sambil khusyuk buat rancangan pengajaran harian (baca: RPH) untuk di 'observe' esok, telebesen terpasang. Sambil tulis sambil tengok, pastu duk cerna dua-dua benda. Multitasking betul. 

But, in fact, otak manusian sebenarnya tak boleh proses dua perkara serentak. Only one thing at the time. Tapi kita sendiri yang perasan bahawa kita boleh buat fikir dua benda satu masa. Padahal between one thing o another, there's time interval, or in brain games it's called as time lag.

Aha, sambung cerita tentang telebesen dan RPH yang tak sudah sudah. Sebab tengah buat RPH Sains, so bukak channel National Geographic, tengk Brain Games. Interesting kot! Sebab dalam show ni, dia tunjukkan macam mana otak kita berfungsi and process any information. 

Like what I watch just now is about fear. 
Why we react to the fear?
 Kenapa kita boleh rasa takut? 
How our brain detect fear? 
Why when we felt something gonna attack us, our adrenalin will secreted much and make our heartbeat running fast and make us anxiety and tension??

Disebabkan saya duk kat rumah sorang-sorang while mamabah pegi ceramah, so this channel will help me how to confront fear. Hoho!


There's a section in our brain that we called as amigdala that detect fear, tension, anxiety and any feeling that make us feel uncomfortable.




Dan rasa takut tu akan muncul dengan sangat kuat bila kita kurang deria untuk detect persekitaran kita.
Contohnya kan, kita berada dalam gelap. Langsung tak nampak apa-apa depan mata nih. Suasana sangat sunyi. Even cengkerik pun bisu. Macam pekak je telinga. Lepastu, tetiba dengar macam bunyi ketukan. Then, diselangi bunyi macam baby nanges. Konfem masa tu terus gigil dan rasa macam nak nanges. Huk!

Tapi, bila bukak lampu, kita nampak ada kawan kita men ketuk-ketuk meja and ada kucing mengiau, terus tak rasa pape.

Banyak cara orang akan react dengan takut. 
Ada yang lari.
Ada yang macam nak lawan, konon kuat la tu kan?
Ada yang terus kaku. 

Haa, kaku ni banyak jadi. Bila kita rasa takut sangat-sangat, kita langsung tak mampu nak gerak. Sebab otak kita terlalu fokus dekat ketakutan tu, other brain function macam locked up gituh. Sebab tu kita tak boleh gerak.


Rasa takut ni sebenarnya not a negative thingy, tapi satu rasa yang membantu kita untuk protect diri. For example, kalau kita langsung takde perasaan takut pada sengat tebuan, mesti ada je yang selamba badak pegi grab hive tu and terus togok gedegangg (baca: telan) madu yang ada dalam hive tu kan?

Mau ada yang muka bengkak bengkil jugak nanti kes kena sengat. Tapi kesian jugak kat bee yang srang dia sebab terus mati. -_-"

Tapi sebab ada rasa takut tu, kita pakai protection clothes, or put a fire and smoke to make the bee flew away or killed by the fire. So, rasa takut tu protect diri kita.

Macam kita takut api. Api tu panas. Kalau kena konfem terbakar, melecur teruk, sakit membunuhh! So, disebabkan kita takut kat api kita jauhkan diri dari api.

So, how about hell fire? 
Awak nak tahu something takkk..(baca style cikgu-cikgu nak ngajar budak) 
Api atas dunia ni, diambil dari neraka dan dibasuh 700x dari sungai-sungai syurga. 

Tu pun masih panas dan membunuh kan?

How if kita kena campak kat dalam nu sebab tak buat apa Allah suruh dan buat apa yang Allah larang?

Agak-agak kulit kita yang halus mulus ni tahan ke?

Ohoi! Seriyus teruss amigdala detect takut tu. Heart running faster and we eager to make sure we are safe and not do the wrong doings.

Tapi, manusia sekarang ni pelik sikit. Dah tahu. Dah maklum, tapi buat jugak. Mungkin sebab dorang tak rasa lagi bagaimana panasnya api. Mungkin mereka tak dapat hidayah lagi. Cliche.

Takut ni yang buat kita survive sebenarnya. 
Ada masa bila kita confront fear, we'll become a better person. More stronger.
Ada masa bila kita elak perkara yang kita takut, kita akan jadi baik jugak.
Tapi ada masanya lah. 
Kena pandai beza.
Biar kena pada tempatnya.
Jangan jadi zalim.. ^_^

btw, takut yang paling teruk sekali adalah penantian untuk something to happen. 

Sebab otak kita akan interpret anything based on our own imagination. 

Dalam masa menunggu tu, macam-macam perkara akan kita fikir, mostly about negative thing. 

Dan takut sebab too think about problem. Rasa bimbang tu sangat kuat. Till make we feel like loser and helpless.
